Geology, Mining and Raw Materials

Geology, Mining and Raw Materials

The Geology, Mining and Raw Materials (GMR) programme of Centre for Mining, Environment, Plant Engineering & Operation (CME) has been constantly providing industrial and technological support in the areas of cement and building materials starting with identification of potential sites for green field projects, geological investigation, exploitation of raw materials, computer aided deposit evaluation and mine planning. A large number of R&D and sponsored assignments in the area of raw material investigation, characterization and their impact on the process to produce optimized quality product has been carried out. GMR has leading softwares available in the field of Geology and Mining like DATAMINE STUDIO, RM SCHEDULAR, MULTI MINE SCHEDULAR and AutoCAD.
