Introduction of the course

The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), NCB is committed to strengthening the skills and knowledge of masons, contractors, construction workers, unskilled and semi-skilled personnel who form the backbone of the construction sector. Through its training and skill-development initiatives, CCE promotes good construction practices, proper handling and use of construction materials, quality workmanship, durability and safe construction practices. In collaboration with organizations from the cement industry, NCB has conducted several programmes for thousands of construction workers and masons, helping them improve their practical skills and adopt better construction practices in the field of civil engineering. These initiatives contribute to improving the quality, durability and safety of construction, while enhancing the employability and professional capabilities of the construction workforce. CCE continues to undertake and expand such initiatives as part of its commitment to knowledge dissemination, skill development and contributing to the wider needs of society and the construction industry.
