Introduction of the course

The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), NCB offers Simulator-Based Training Programmes for cement plant officials and technical personnel, supported by a state-of-the-art simulator facility at CCE. The programme provides a realistic and interactive environment for developing and enhancing plant operation skills, with a focus on the operation, process control and optimization of modern cement plant systems, including roller press and ball mill grinding systems, vertical roller mills (VRMs), modern pre-calciner kiln systems and other key plant processes. The simulator enables participants to understand process behavior, practice operational decision-making and respond to different operating conditions in a controlled environment, providing valuable practical exposure to improve operational efficiency, process understanding and troubleshooting capabilities.
